Devchekio Code Editor (Dev-Chick-ee-oh) is a FTP check in/out code editor. It was inspired by the use of DreamWeaver's system to access files like a library system. It's written in GTK+ so it's cross platform for Windows, Linux, BSD and even Mac OS X.

It provides a lightweight and easy to use IDE with all the common capabilities of most code editors. For web development teams that consist of Linux users, it can be a huge benefit to use. The library tracking system keeps track of if the file is being edited and who is using it, along with other useful information. Later versions of Devchekio will include revision trackers.

Support This Project

Devchekio is currently only in Beta stage. The actual code editor is fully functional, however FTP and syntax highlighting capabilities have not been developed.
